Beauty and the Barber is a small, homely salon in an old timber shop in Newtown. The kind of place where customers know the team by name, the prices are kind and there's always time for a chat while you're in the chair.

What we do

From a toddler's first trim to a set of foils, and one customer's 84 year old mum treated “like a princess”. Ring for prices and times.

Men, women and kids, from a quick tidy-up to a proper restyle. Mums, dads, grandparents and little ones all sit in the same chairs here.
Barber trims
A good trim at a fair price, with a bit of a chat while you're in the chair. Pop in without an appointment or ring ahead.

Foils and colour for when you want more than a trim. Give us a call to talk it through and book a time.
Perms
Yes, we still do perms. Ring ahead so we can set aside the time you need.

There's a play corner full of toys and books inside, so little ones have something to do while they wait their turn.
